Meet Dylan and Jay – The Faces Behind Crystal & Stone

We're Dylan and Jay, the co-founders of Crystal & Stone. To be honest, we’re just two crystal-obsessed dudes with a serious passion for all things shiny and magical! We've been hooked on crystals for as long as we can remember, and now we’re sharing that love with you.

YOUR FAVOURITE CRYSTAL SHOP

A Crystal Community for Everyone

We’re more than just a crystal shop – we’ve built a vibrant, supportive community of crystal lovers who come together to laugh, learn, and grow. While our physical store has closed, our passion for fostering meaningful connections continues. Now running Crystal & Stone from home, we remain committed to supporting our local community and small businesses. We’re proud to be a space that welcomes everyone, regardless of background. Whether you’re LGBTQ+, trans, living with a disability, or just love crystals and a good pun, you’re part of our community. Inclusivity is at the heart of what we do, and we’re here to ensure that everyone feels seen, valued, and included in their crystal journey.

How it Started...

Our love for crystals has been lifelong. For Jay, it started with his grandma, who was an avid crystal collector and passed on both her collection and knowledge to him. Those crystals became a source of support during tough times, helping Jay manage his mental health. He now surrounds his workspace with grounding and cleansing stones like Selenite, Clear Quartz, Moss Agate, and Obsidian.

As for me (Dylan, obviously), I got into spiritualism and crystals as a teenager, and I’ve been carrying stones with me ever since. Whether it’s yoga or meditation, I always keep crystals nearby to align with my intentions—whether it’s boosting self-esteem, increasing motivation, or clearing out negativity. My go-tos are Rose Quartz, Sodalite, Lapis Lazuli, and Garnet (when I’m feeling spicy).

When we started Crystal & Stone, our goal was simple: to create a space that’s accessible to everyone. Whether you’re buying your very first crystal or in the middle of awakening your kundalini (Google it!), we wanted a place where people felt comfortable, and where crystals felt less “woo-woo” and more “WOO-HOO!”
