The Best Gems for Geminis - Crystal & Stone

The Best Gems for Geminis

May 22, 2021Dylan MacIntyre

Ahhh Gemini - the social butterfly of the zodiac with quick wit, intelligence, fast learning capabilities, and an impressively short attention span…Hey look, a crystal!

Geminis are also known for their duality; gentle yet nervous, adaptable yet indecisive. In fact, they’re often referred to as the most unpredictable zodiac sign, with their air element seeing them change their mood with the wind.

Who is a Gemini?
Date: 21 May – 20 June
Symbol: Twins (Castor & Pollux, known as the Dioscuri)
Birthstone: Pearl
Element: Air

Story Time: Where Did the “Twins” Come From?

The Gemini sign is best represented by twins – but why?

According to Greek mythology, Castor and Pollux were said to be born from the same egg, but had different fathers – Pollux was the divine son of Zeus and Castor was the mortal son of the King of Sparta.

When Castor was killed, Pollux asked Zeus to make Castor immortal to ensure they could continue being together and thus, the Gemini constellation was formed. This is where the ‘two sides’ of a Gemini come from – who knew?

With that little history lesson out of the way, let us take you through the best crystals for the Gemini in your life.

Agate

When your energy has you climbing the walls and asking questions like “Can sound waves generate heat?” – it’s time to take some time out with agate.

Agate is a grounding stone that helps you to connect to the gentle vibrations of the earth. It also works well to enhance concentration, repel negativity, and heal tension.

Amethyst

Everyone loves amethyst – it’s a calming, protective stone that just looks good enough to eat (side note - don’t eat stones or crystals).

Amethyst helps to stabilise and soothe the quick-changing moods of Gemini, as well as forcing Geminis to take the time to relax and rejuvenate.

It is considered to be one of the most protective and powerful stones, with amethysts also used for insomnia relief, immunity boosting, stress relief, and as a protector against psychic attacks.

Aquamarine

Aquamarine is another stone that can be used like a chill pill to soothe the unpredictable energy of Geminis, with a blue-green appearance that is reminiscent of the Indian Ocean off of Dunsborough on a calm summers’ day.

This stone works with the Throat Chakra and Heart Chakra to open better communication with others, ensuring the sometimes dual-personality of Gemini can be understood by others.

Labradorite

With an array of colours to match the many interesting, unique, and complex facets of a Gemini, labradorite is a beautiful stone to add to your collection.

Labradorite helps to find a balance between the physical and spiritual Gemini energy, ridding those pesky insecurities from your mental space to make way for change.

It also works as a protective stone, protecting your aura from harmful energy and helping you to spread love and kindness in every situation.

Tiger’s Eye

We think the song goes: “It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the gem of the Gemini, rising up to make them less stubborn.”

Tiger’s Eye is a powerful crystal that helps Geminis to remain focused on their various projects, relationships, and jobs by diminishing their stubborn traits and improving their courage, decision making, and perseverance.
